When I was young, I witnessed a loved one succumbed from endometrial cancer. The symptoms that I witnessed are abdomen enlargement due to ascites and eventually the patient had an heart attack. That time, I research about the initial symptoms of this type of cancer and I found out that it may have no symptoms at first. I realized how traitor cancer really is and wish that someday I’ll be able to contribute my skills in the healthcare industry.

Some of the common signs of emerging endometrial cancer are endometriosis, vaginal bleeding after menopause, pelvic pain, and unusual vaginal discharge. There are some who feel like they have no symptom at all but women should really be watchful for any unusual signs that they notice in their body.

Yes it is very hard in this stage. Women with more extensive recurrences (widespread cancer) are treated like those with stage IV endometrial cancer. Either hormone therapy or chemo is recommended. Low-grade cancers containing progesterone receptors are more likely to respond well to hormone therapy.
